The Birmingham CAN! Youth Event was held on Thursday 30 October, aimed at bringing together Youth organisations in Birmingham.

The day aimed to:

§         facilitate networking

§         provide advice on funding applications and marketing services

§         encourage joint working

We had a number of organisations displaying information, as well as a stall from Birmingham CAN! There were speakers and an exercise on Joint Working;funding and marketing workshops as well as a jargon buster workshop.

Joint Working: this exercise got delegates working together to write a joint bid for a new grant. The aim of the workshop was to foster new links and encourage partnerships.
